How are Minor’s Bases manufactured so they add fresher, more natural flavor?

Minor’s starts with premium high-quality meat, poultry, seafood and vegetables that are freshly cooked just prior to processing in a state-of-the-art USDA inspected facility. They use technologically advanced custom equipment to capture and retain the fresh flavor expected from premium bases. Minor’s Bases are closely monitored during each phase of the manufacturing process to assure consistent quality results.

The name of the product is always the primary ingredient. The exact amount is proprietary information.

Are Minor’s Bases considered “natural”?

Yes. Minor’s Bases do not contain any artificial flavors, colors or chemical preservatives. All ingredients are naturally derived and include: freshly cooked meat, poultry, seafood and vegetables, natural spices, spice extracts and flavorings derived from vegetables and herbs.

We “seal in freshness” by using a USDA-approved aluminum foil lid that is machine applied, heat sealed and covered with a plastic cap for every 1 lb. cup of Minor’s Base. The finished product is stored refrigerated.

What if the product is not refrigerated? Should I throw it away?

Minor’s Bases should remain refrigerated to retain optimum quality and freshness. A base will not become harmful if left out at room temperature, but there may be a loss in the intensity of the flavor.
