Black Cumin Seed is a rare seed you won't find in very many places.
Origin: India
Also Known as: Black Jeera Spice, Nigella Sativa and Charnushka
Notes: Black Cumin shares a similar name with regular cumin and nigella sativa (also known as black cumin) and a similar crescent like shape appearance with caraway seeds; but is its own more exotic, rare and rewarding spice. Black Cumin is carminative, meaning it tends to aid digestion and relieve gases in the stomach and intestines.
Typical uses: Curry, meat, rice, pilaf, baking, bread, sauces, soups and stew. Also use in rubs and marinades.
