| Minors Brown Sauce Prep, a true Espagnole, is a savory paste concentrate of beef base with subtle notes of tomato, onion and garlic with a light thickener. Comparable in flavor to classic brown sauce (Espagnole). Fast, foolproof and can be prepared the day before and reheated. Just add water and cook up a lightly thickened, perfectly seasoned gravy for meat dishes or mashed potatoes. A convenient base for making classic sauce variations such as Bordelaise, Chasseur or Burgundy Sauces. Create additional variety with sliced onions, mushrooms or green peppers. Add sour cream for an excellent Stroganoff. Add dry wines, fruit juices or fruit liqueurs to produce exotic sauces. |
