What are Soup Bases? |

Minor's Soup Bases are perfectly
seasoned, paste-style concentrates
of freshly cooked meat, poultry,
seafood and vegetables. They are
no artificial ingredients,
preservatives or color. Most soup
bases contain less than 1 gram of
fat per serving and are available in
No-Added MSG, Low Sodium,
Reduced Sodium
and Vegetarian Varieties.

How do I use them? |

One teaspoon base and 1 cup boiling water
makes instant, full-flavored stocks for
soups, sauces and gravies. You can
adjust measurements to amount and strength
desired. For a health alternative to butter
and cream use rich, delicious stock as the
bases for savory, satisfying flavor. You can
use the bases as a replacement for salt but
with so much more flavor. If your recipe
calls for 1 tsp. salt, replace with 1.5 - 2
tsp. of base and, in addition to all the
flavor, you'll reduce the sodium content by
approximately 20%.
