The subtle flavor of chicken locked in every grain of
parboiled long-grain rice for consistent flavor throughout every
portion. This delicious side dish can be served with any meal.
Combine 1 cup rice with 1 ĺ cup water and 1 tbs. Butter (optional).
Bring to vigorous boil, cover, remove from heat and let stand for 15
minutes. Fluff rice before serving. Makes 8 - Ĺ cup servings.
For softer rice, reduce boil to a simmer, cover and simmer for 5-10
minutes, then let stand.
