Use just enough molasses powder
Mexican oregano is stronger and less sweet. Well-suited to the spicy,
hot, cumin-flavored dishes of Mexico and Central America. Perfect for
chili and salsa. Add at the start of cooking so the flavors will meld
with the other ingredients in the dish.

less sweet, spicier and grassier than true Mediterranean oregano.
