Highlights: A dry mix containing Dutch process
cocoa and dried cream, that is prepared by whipping with ice water. The
finished product is a Bavarian style, light textured, airy mousse with
an appealing color, smooth creamy texture and rich chocolate flavor.
Product Usage: Can be used to prepare a variety of desserts.
Serve as is or piped, as a filling for pies and pastries, as a cake
icing or filling or as a frozen dessert. May be flavored with CIO
Extracts such as Hazelnut or Coffee to create flavored Bavarian mousse.
Chopped chocolate, nuts or raspberries can be added.
10.5 oz Package Directions: Makes 1.5+ quarts.
1) In a bowl**, add mix to 2 cups ice water (38° F).
2) Whip at low speed for 2 minute. Stop and scrape bowl.
3) Continue mixing at high speed until desired consistency is reached
(about 5 minutes).
* For a richer product, use cold milk in place of water or add 4 oz.
nonfat milk powder to the ice water.
** For best results, chill bowl before using.
